Reminder- Registration materials are due on Friday. Also-Students will go to the Youth Center (Mod 8) for an orientation there.
Today in class:
Students got their NetBooks and logged into their Google accounts. They did a great job helping the tech people get their computers set with our school network.
Language Arts: Today we discussed character traits. Students used evidence from the text, Shells, to create a list of character traits for the two main characters.
Social Studies: Students did a social studies vocabulary activity using their NetBooks. They reviewed and learned land and water terms as part of our mapping skills unit.
Science: We focused on writing a good hypothesis. Students first read about how to write a good hypothesis. They applied that knowledge to writing hypotheses based on a variety of scenarios.
Ms. Whitmore-Sells came to the team today to review the Hunt harassment and bullying policy.
